We're proud to support a campaign on the UK coastline raising awareness about the importance of ocean conservation and biodiversity. It's run by the community-led charity, Rise Up. Clean Up. Margate.

It all started when the Margate community took action against the overwhelming litter on their local beaches. Since, Rise Up have collected over 4.8 tonnes of waste from over 40 community cleans. They've had a big impact on Margate's landscape. Equally, every piece of litter collected is prevented from entering the ocean. But they're not limited to beach cleans.

Rise Up hosts a residency and we were excited to be invited to support as product partners. The campaign is designed to raise awareness about ocean health and biodiversity through creativity.

It's set up by the internationally acclaimed artist, Louis Masai, and uses murals and workshops to communicate the importance of of the ocean and the wildlife that call it home.

Louis called on his network of artists. They joined forces, and over one week, created 17 murals across Margate.

Each highlights the importance of ocean conservation and biodiversity in its own unique way. You can find some of our favourites below.
